About Us

Swarnalayam Charitable Trust, Chennai is a Registered Charitable Trust in Chennai. It is a Non Governmental Organization started with a humble beginning in the year 2025. Though there are several spheres which need immediate attention, the Swarnalayam Charitable Trust, Chennai mainly focuses on Temples that need care and attention to perform its Daily Rituals etc. We would also like to devote attention to the needy patients awaiting major surgeries who come from the downtrodden and could ill afford to pay for the huge surgical charges and the much sought aftercare thereafter. We also wish to lend our helping hands to such poor students who are good in their studies but could not pursue it beyond a reasonable level due to well known financial constraints. Last but not the least, Annadhanam to the hungry is the need of the day and we would bestow personal attention to offer our helping hands with a sumptuous meal for all those who deserve it.

The Trustees along with the help of its Patrons and Volunteers would ensure that all the aforesaid are done at the earliest to bring in cheer and smiles to the much deserving needy. In future we would also wish to increase our help to other areas so that we could do things to the best of our ability. In a nutshell Swarnalayam Charitable Trust, Chennai is a People’s Empowerment for Humanitarian causes.

Memorable Days

A memorable Day means  different things to various people. Some derive pleasure in spending the day lavishly with their kith and kin. Some derive pleasure in spending time with their Friends circle. They spend a lot on these days for themselves and for the people around them. Possessing everything for themselves is not joy. What matters most is when a person gives, shares or donates to the under privileged and see the smile on their faces then.  Some choose their Birthdays, Wedding Anniversaries  and the Death Anniversaries of their  forefathers  by visiting Temples and contributing or by Donating to the Poor. Such  Persons could call us or could send in their contributions on such Days to make it still more memorable.  This would be spent on the Needy and for the  deserving  Temples which are less fortunate
